Thank you for your commitment to and hard work on behalf of UW–Madison. To celebrate you, my fellow campus leaders and I invite you to the Employee Appreciation Ice Cream Socials on June 10 and June 12. These events are open to all current UW–Madison faculty, staff, and post-docs.
On June 10, ice cream will be served on Bascom Hill (rain location Birge Hall) from 1 to 2:30 p.m., or until supplies run out.
On June 12, ice cream will be served in the Lake Mendota Room at Dejope Residence Hall from 10:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., or until supplies run out.
Most ice cream will be served in cups. Dietary alternatives will also be available, as supplies last.
We expect work units and supervisors to provide flexibility to allow you to attend the ice cream socials. Employees can attend during work hours without loss of pay. Employees not scheduled to work during those times can also attend an event, although they will not be paid to do so. Employees who plan to attend during work hours should tell their supervisor in advance.
